Lavanya Balachandran	Bharata Natyam dancer and Carnatic Vocalist
	studied Bharatanatyam under Shanta Ponnudurai and Sitaravamma Sandrasegaran, achieving the title of Natya Visharad learnt music under A.K. Karunakaran and N R Prashanth, achieving the title of of Sangeeta Visharad received special training from S. Rajam in Chennai participated in a number of events organized by SIFAS, notably Sanghamitra, and the Fifth Lotus hosted a major television series on Carnatic Music education in Singapore served as President of the Tamil Language and Debating Society at Raffles Junior College, and represented her school's Indian society in Sweden last updated: June 2002
